Regina police have arrested and charged a 15-year-old girl with a weapons assault following an incident Saturday evening.
Police say they were called to the Dewdney and Montague Street area at around 11:45 p.m. for a report of two females fighting.
When they arrived on scene, officers located a female victim who had been injured with an edged weapon. She was transported to hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
The 15-year-old female suspect has been charged with assault with a weapon and cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. She is expected to appear in youth court on September 13.
