Toronto man charged in sexual assaults of infant, teen girl and woman: police

A 38-year-old Toronto man has been charged in connection with the sexual assaults of a three-month-old infant girl, a 15-year-old girl and a 32-year-old woman who was threatened with death in alleged incidents dating back to 1998.

Toronto police said Friday that in 1998 the suspect and another 37-year-old Toronto man, who were 20 and 19 at the time, got the teen girl intoxicated and prevented her from leaving an apartment before they both sexually assaulted her.

In 2003, police said the now-38-year-old sexually assaulted the baby girl in the Jane Street and Trethewey Drive area.

Earlier this year, police said the man sexually assaulted the 32-year-old woman in an unspecified area of the city before threatening to kill her.

Ochieng Murray, 38, of Toronto, was arrested July 12 and charged with three counts of sexual assault, sexual interference, forcible confinement and threatening death. He is scheduled to appear in a Toronto court Monday.

Police said Murray lived in the Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West area between 1991 and 1994 and are concerned there may be other alleged victims in the area.

Jermaine Budgeon, 37, was arrested July 14 and charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement in connection with the 1998 alleged incident. He was scheduled to appear in a Toronto court July 14 and police are concerned there may be other alleged victims.
