A pedestrian was hit Monday morning on Drysdale Blvd in Kelowna and RCMP are asking for the public’s help.

It happened at about 11:48 a.m., when an older-model blue sedan was making a left turn from Drysdale Boulevard onto Kane Road.

RCMP said the driver allegedly struck the pedestrian at the marked crosswalk and was last seen travelling southbound on Valley Road.

Police said the pedestrian did not suffer serious injuries.

They are asking the two people in the vehicle, who are believed to be younger males, to contact investigators.

“Drivers involved in collisions are reminded that they must remain at the scene, render reasonable assistance, and exchange particulars,” said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
