File. File/Global News

RCMP are looking for a man who they say shot at a truck and fled from police after a traffic dispute early Tuesday morning in Red Deer.

Around 5:25 a.m. in the Corral Foods parking lot, investigators say the driver of a truck attempted to confront the driver of a white Chrysler Intrepid following an argument.

“The man driving the Intrepid pointed a handgun at the truck and then shot at it as the truck departed,” RCMP said in a news release.

No one was injured.

RCMP said the alleged shooter drove away eastbound on 67 Street. Officers foundthe vehicle and followed it to an area west of Red Deer on Range Road 275.

Investigators said the suspect then left his vehicle and ran off. As of 11:45 a.m., police hadn’t found him yet.
