A toddler who made headlines earlier this week for throwing a temper tantrum about not getting a chance to meet Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan this past Canada Day, has finally had her wish granted.
Two-year-old Sophia Popalyar was hoping to meet Sajjan last Friday in Ottawa, but he was in B.C.

Sophia was very upset about not getting to meet her favourite politician and her tearful reaction was captured on video by her father, going viral.
At the time, the video caught the attention of Sajjan himself, who posted a video response saying he would love to meet Sophia soon.
Thursday morning, Sajjan posted a Tweet of him holding Sophia’s hand while walking through the Parliament Building.
