A 27-year-old Nova Scotia man has been charged with accessing and possessing child pornography following an investigation by the RCMP and the FBI.
After receiving information from the FBI, police say they executed a search warrant at a home in Valley, N.S. on June 29, where they found child pornography.
Troy Jamie Walker was arrested at the scene. He was released from custody on strict conditions and will appear in Truro Provincial Court on October 12, 2016.
In Nova Scotia, it is mandatory for citizens to report suspected child pornography. This means that anyone who encounters child pornography material or recordings must report it to the police.
