Three men from Upper Northfield, Nova Scotia have been charged with drug trafficking after police seized a quantity of drugs on Monday.
The South Shore Street Crime Enforcement Unit, RCMP and Bridgewater Police Service conducted searches on two homes in Upper Northfield.
A quantity of prescription pills, cash and marijuana were seized during the searches.
There was also a large quantity of empty capsules seized.
The charges are as follows:
- William Oswald Russell, 65, charged with possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking of marijuana and possession of marijuana.
- Murray Marvin Heath, 35, charged with trafficking hydromorphone .
- Frank Carmon Hebb, 59, charged with trafficking hydromorphone.
All three men appeared in Bridgewater Provincial Court on June 28th and were released on conditions.
The men will return to court on August 17th.
