Plane Talk: MPs Singing in Planes
The highlights and high notes of MPs singing their favourite tunes from this season's set of Plane Talks – Jun 26, 2016

It’s been a season of high flying and high notes on the West Block.

Over the course of the last 10 months, MPs from all sides of the House of Commons have agreed to take a flight over Ottawa with show host Tom Clark in his Cessna 172 Skyhawk.

Sometimes the talk turned to serious subjects, like when Liberal MP Seamus O’Regan discussed his stint in rehab or when the NDP’s Nathan Cullen talked about the high price of party leadership.

And sometimes it’s been light-hearted, like when Rodger Cuzner took the plane’s controls and joked that he would give former astronaut Marc Garneau a run for his money as a pilot.

But one element has been constant in every interview: singing. Every guest on Plane Talk is asked to perform a few bars of their favourite tune, leading to some surprising and sometimes hilarious results.
