Surrey RCMP is investigating a suspicious incident that happened on King George Boulevard on Wednesday.
At 10 p.m. on June 22, police received reports of a Caucasian female entering a black truck with two Caucasian men inside, however the witness could not determine whether the woman was forced into the vehicle or not.
The truck is described as a newer model black Dodge Ram with three cardboard boxes in the back and had ‘driving’ or ‘fog’ lights on at the time. It was last seen travelling northbound on King George from 94A Avenue.
“Even though police aren’t certain if an offence has occurred we are treating this matter very seriously,” says Cpl. Scotty Schumann. “Investigators would like to speak with anyone who recognizes this truck or has knowledge of the persons involved.”
Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.solvecrime.ca.
