Charges are pending against a man following a brief standoff in the community of Auburn Bay on Wednesday.
Officers were called to a house in the 100 block of Auburn Bay Avenue S.E. at around 2:30 a.m. by a woman who said a man in the home was pointing a gun at her.

She was able to escape the home without injury.
Police said the suspect initially refused to leave the home, but surrendered a short time later.
