KELOWNA — Four young males escaped injury after the pick up truck they were in was involved in a rollover accident on Tuesday morning.
It happened on Gillard Forest Service Road around 11 :30 a.m.
Officials say the 17-year-old driver lost control, hit a large rock, causing the vehicle to cartwheel and land upside down crushing the cab.
The driver stayed at the scene while the other three males ran away, according to officials.
The 17-year-old, who is a new driver, was ticketed for having more than one passenger in the vehicle.
