It was a violent night in the Greater Toronto Area as four victims were sent to hospital after three separate shootings.
Residents at an apartment building near Scarborough Golf Club Road and Lawrence Avenue East were awaken around 5:30 a.m. Sunday after two men in their 30s were shot.
Paramedics took the men to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre with a police escort in serious condition.
In Mississauga, police and paramedics were called to the outside of a strip club on Invader Crescent near Tomken Road and Derry Road East around 2:45 a.m. Sunday.
A 33-year-old Brampton man was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, but he has since been upgraded to serious condition, according to Peel Regional Police.
Police are looking for a male in connection to the shooting.
The incidents followed another shooting near Scarborough Town Centre Saturday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the Progress Avenue and Corporate Drive area around 10 p.m. where they found a man suffering with one gunshot wound in the hip.
He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Police haven’t released suspect information for either of the Scarborough incidents.
