Large amounts of fentanyl, heroin, cocaine seized in West Kelowna

Two West Kelowna men are facing numerous charges after a large drug bust Tuesday.

The bust took place at a home in the 4000 block of Pritchard Road North in West Kelowna just before 3 p.m.

A nearly two-month investigation ended with police executing a search warrant on a West Kelowna home, where police seized a laundry list of illegal drugs and drug equipment including:

  • 372 grams of suspected crack cocaine; totaling 910 pieces pre-packaged for street sales
  • 137 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • 82 grams of suspected heroin; totaling 350 pieces pre-packaged for street sales
  • over $30,000 in Canadian currency
  • equipment consistent with the sale of illegal drugs

Brandon Tuovila and Danae Manore were arrested in connection with the large-scale bust.

Manore is facing four charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking in a substance.

Tuovila is facing two charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The men have been released from custody under strict conditions.

Both are scheduled to appear in court June 30.
