Some Calgary seniors recruited a special guest to be part of a new music video: none other than Mayor Naheed Nenshi.
Nenshi appears with residents of the Whitehorn Village Retirement Community in a lip sync version of Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband.”
The mayor spent about an hour shooting the video last week at the seniors’ facility in northeast Calgary.

The staff member who organized it, Claudia Castananza, said the residents were “so excited” to have Nenshi join them in creating the video.
It’s not the first time Global News caught up with the singing seniors, who produced a video to a popular Taylor Swift song back in September 2013. Watch that one below:
