Vancouver police are asking witnesses of an attempted abduction incident to come forward with any information about the incident.

Just before 10 a.m. on April 22, a four-door silver vehicle pulled up to the 45-year-old victim that was sitting at a bus stop near 51st Avenue and Kerr Street. A man allegedly got out of the car, grabbed the woman and tried to pull her inside the car. The woman was able to escape uninjured.

Police said there have been two other suspicious incidents involving the same victim and suspect over a period of five days; which makes investigators believe this abduction attempt was targeted and possibly linked to a personal dispute.

The suspect is described as Vietnamese, about 50 years old with a medium build and large eyes. He was wearing a black hat and black hoodie.

Police believe there were witnesses standing near the bus stop during the time of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department.
