REGINA – A 34-year-old Regina woman is charged with attempted murder after police responded to a call about an assault early Friday morning.

Regina police received the call around 3:38 a.m. and found a wounded 37-year-old man at the corner of 13th Avenue and Osler Street. EMS was already on the scene, and the man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation led police to arresting and charging Jennifer Suzanne Sunshine.

Sunshine has been remanded into custody and her first court appearance is scheduled for Monday, May 30 at 9:30 a.m.
