Environment Canada (EC) says a cold upper trough of low pressure moved into the southern interior on Friday and showers associated with the trough, changed to flurries above 1400 metres overnight.

Flurries are forecast to continue near Pennask Summit, changing to a chance of showers in the afternoon.

EC is reminding motorists that weather in the mountains can change suddenly, resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
