A picture of a couple hugging on the beach may look like just any other beach pic at first glance — but when you take a closer look, it might leave you scratching your head. Or booking an eye exam.
Whose legs are where?
The image surfaced this week after Reddit user Blood_Reaper uploaded it to Imgur.
Is the man’s lower body leaning forward? The woman leaning back?
The image has sparked some debate on social media.
The answer is pretty simple. If her legs were coming out of the black shorts, then her feet would be pointing backwards. There aren’t many of us who could force our feet to do that. Not for long, anyway.
The photo has been viewed almost 2.4 million times in the past few days.
The photo is the latest in a line of images that have confused, befuddled and generally broken the web, including a debate over dress colour.
