REGINA – Regina Police’s Explosive Disposal Unit responded to Coronation Park after a homeowner made a troubling discovery Tuesday.
Around 2:00 p.m. officers responded to the home along Donahue Avenue after a resident found a bag of railway explosive signal devices.
The area was secure and the devices were rendered safe without any risk to the public.
Police say the incident acts as a reminder to residents to avoid handling any object that looks suspicious and instead call police who are trained and equipped to deal with potential explosive devices.
