Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Jurassic Park take over downtown Toronto

It’s best to stay out of the downtown core Wednesday night if you have issues with large crowds.

A good chunk of Toronto from the Rogers Centre to the Air Canada Centre will be packed to the brim as several high-profile events take the main stage.

Beyoncé is bringing her Formation World Tour to the Rogers Centre at 8:30 p.m. while Selena Gomez performs at the ACC at 7:30 p.m.

Basketball fans will be sandwiched between the two superstar musical acts as Maple Leafs Square turns into Jurassic Park for Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference final as the Raptors look to steal a game on the road in Cleveland.

Motorists are being reminded to be aware of traffic disruptions from Front Street to the north, Spadina to the west, Bremner Boulevard to the south and Bay Street to the east.

Commuters can also expect increased pedestrian activity on public transit including on streetcars and subway trains.
