MONTREAL – Police were called after bones were found on a digging site at the Turcot Interchange.
Around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, workers discovered what they thought could be remains.

“Police were called on the scene, but were not able to determine if the bones were human or animal,” explained Daniel Lacoursière, a spokesperson with Montreal police.
The bones were sent to a lab to be analyzed.

Lacoursière said the results should be available in a few weeks.
