Toronto police have charged three people with over 50 gun and drug-related offences after officers were called to The Annex Friday.
According to a Toronto police statement, officers were called to the Walmer Road and Bernard Avenue area, south of Spadina Road and Dupont Street, around 3:50 a.m. with a report that a vehicle was being taken.
An investigation by police determined the vehicle was not stolen, but officers found drugs and a loaded gun inside the vehicle.
Kevin Levar Prince, 35, of Toronto is facing 20 drug possession and firearm-related charges.
Brenda Muscat, 49, of Toronto is facing 16 firearm-related charges.
Benjamin Todd, 20, of Edmonton is facing 13 firearm-related charges.
The three accused were scheduled to appear in a Toronto court Saturday morning.
