The man accused of assisting in the murder of Simon Fraser University student Maple Batalia has been found not guilty of manslaughter in her death.
However, he has been found guilty of accessory after the fact in the murder case.
Gursimar Bedi was charged with accessory after the fact for the 2011 shooting and stabbing of Batalia.
He drove the vehicle used on the day of the attack through a car wash.
Batalia was gunned down while leaving a study session outside of the SFU Surrey campus by her jealous ex-boyfriend, Gary Dhaliwal.
He was found guilty of second-degree murder in March and sentenced to life with no parole for 21 years.
