TORONTO – Moans, mumblings and mutterings were heard across the land as Canadians checked in vain for winning lottery numbers from last night’s Lotto Max draw.

No winning ticket was sold for Friday night’s $12 million Lotto Max jackpot.
That means the grand prize for next Friday’s draw on May 20 will be an estimated $17 million.
Earlier this month a $50 million dollar Lotto Max jackpot was won by a ticket holder in Quebec.
