Mounties were called to the 46000 block of Yale Road around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, where they found a man dead at the scene and another in possession of a knife. Emergency responders had attempted to treat the victim, but the man died of his injuries.

Gerald Leslie Dolman was arrested by police and charged with second degree murder in the death of the 49-year-old man.

Witnesses told police that the events leading up to the stabbing started with Dolman’s vehicle allegedly following the victim’s car on Yale Road. It it believed that Dolman may have struck a cyclist while following the victim. The two cars then collided in a parking lot that then led to an altercation between the two men and eventual death of the victim.
