WINNIPEG — Road construction season is set to kick in to high gear across Winnipeg in the next few weeks and now we know what local streets the work will be focused on.
The city administration has released its list of local, or residential, street construction, back alley renewals and other road improvement projects it would like to see completed this summer.
There is $53,625,000 in funding set aside for the work.
The list still needs final approval from city council
In all there are 58 stretches of local street stretches slated for some attention as well as just over a dozen alleys among other work planned.
The list does not include regional street repairs.
