SASKATOON – A man is in hospital following a motorcycle crash in Saskatoon. It happened Friday just after 1 a.m. at the bottom of the Broadway Bridge.
Police say the motorcycle was spotted by a member of the traffic division speeding northbound on the bridge. A laser confirmed the speed to be over 100 km/h, according to police.
The motorcyclist was unable to navigate the corner at the bottom of the bridge. The motorcycle slammed into the concrete curb surrounding the boulevard and the rider was thrown from the bike.
The 38-year-old man was rushed to Royal University Hospital with unknown injuries.
Police say speed and alcohol appear to be factors.

Traffic restrictions were in place for several hours.
Police continue to investigate and said that charges are pending.
