The company says it has talked drivers and to offset the reduction, Mayfair will also reduce the weekly fees drivers have to pay.
Earlier this week, Associated Cabs also reduced its fares starting next week.
A change to the city’s taxi rules means cab companies can now set their own rates up to the metered maximum.
