POINTE-CLAIRE- Students came out to St.Thomas High School in Pointe-Claire Friday evening to honour Tannia Ditchburn, a very special teacher.
Ditchburn is a drama teacher, improv coach and mentor at St.Thomas.
At the school’s improv show Friday, former students presented Ditchburn with the prestigious Loran Teachers Building Leaders Award.
Former Student David D’Arienzo nominated Ditchburn for the award.
“The amount of work she put in is jaw dropping,” he said. “Her passion is just infectious and it makes us want to be better.”
Former students took over the stage during intermission to present the award to their mentor.
