Police determine dead body found in Lonzo Creek Park not suspicious

Abbotsford Police are calling the death of a man in Lonzo Creek Park not suspicious.

Officers were called to the area Friday afternoon for reports of a man down. When they arrived, they found one man dead.

The victim is a 54-year-old from Abbotsford, but his name and the exact cause of death is unknown.

The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Detectives and Forensic Identification Service officers investigated and determined the death is not suspicious.

The name of the man will not be released to the public.
