One person is dead after a serious crash in Maple Ridge on Monday.
Two vehicles collided on Lougheed Highway near 266th Street at around 3 p.m.

The road was shut down in both directions for a number of hours while police collected evidence. It later re-opened to single lane traffic eastbound. Westbound lanes didn’t re-open until late Monday night.
No word yet on what may have caused the accident.
