Saskatoon students try to win school trip to Jasper National Park
SASKATOON – A class of Grade 8 students at St. Maria Goretti Community School is trying to win an all-expenses paid trip to Jasper. The Saskatoon students had to research a national park and produce a one-minute video about the park in order to win.
“It would mean a lot to win, knowing that our five months of good research was put to good use,” said Dan Pantaleon, one of the students involved in the project.
Until March 18, people can visit the My Parks Pass Canada website and vote for the best video. The top ten vote-getting videos will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will select a winner.
The winning class will visit Jasper National Park, where they can go white water rafting, visit the Columbia Icefield and ride the Jasper SkyTram.
