WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Jets once again stayed silent on NHL trade deadline day with general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff making no moves.

The team wasn’t expected to complete any deals on Monday after trading Andrew Ladd, Matt Fraser and Jay Harrison to the Chicago Blackhawks last week. In exchange, Winnipeg received forward Marko Dano, a 2016 first round draft pick and a conditional pick in the 2018 NHL draft.

The Jets have made just a single trade on deadline day since returning to Winnipeg in 2011. The team dealt defenceman Johnny Oduya to Chicago in 2012 for a second and third round draft pick.
