Recipe: Green lentil power smoothie

Nutrition expert Patricia Chuey shares a recipe for a healthy green lentil power smoothie:

Ingredients

-½ medium cucumber, chopped
-1 cup chopped kale, spines removed
-¾ cup cooked split red lentils
-1 apple, cored and chopped
-1 medium banana, fresh or frozen
-½ cup cold water
-¾ cup crushed ice
-½ cup plain, vanilla or coconut Greek yogurt
-3 tbsp honey
-3 tbsp lemon juice

Serves 6

Per serving: 140 calories, 27 g carbohydrate, 4 g fibre, 2 g fat, 20 mg sodium, 6 g protein
