KELOWNA — Kelowna RCMP have arrested a man accused of committing an indecent act early Sunday morning.

It was shortly after 4 a.m. that police received a report of an indecent act committed in the 1900 block of Pandosy Street.

“Police have learned that a man had walked up to a woman without any pants on, that he touched himself inappropriately and then invited the woman to touch him as well,” said Cst. Jesse O’Donaghey in a press release.

O’Donaghey says the woman, a 36-year-old from Peachland, was not harmed during the encounter, adding she quickly called police and provided a detailed suspect description.

The suspect had last been seen walking north on Pandosy Street near Park Avenue.

“Police quickly attended the area and located a man matching the suspect’s description who was observed with disheveled clothing,” said O’Donaghey in the release.
