An Ontario woman has died after a weekend rollover on Highway 44, east of Winnipeg.
RCMP said the crash happened on Feb. 6 just after 4 p.m. When officers arrived on scene, there was a pickup truck in the east side of the ditch along the highway.
A 64-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and a woman passenger was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Witnesses told the RCMP that the pickup truck was heading northbound on Highway 44 prior to losing control.
Police continue to investigate and said alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
