The Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary. Global News

The 13th annual Caring for Kids Radiothon wrapped up Friday night with another big win: $1.66 million was raised over the three-day event to bring the 13-year total to $20.9 million.

Hundreds of volunteers, including many of Global Calgary’s staff, donated their time over the three days. Our own Leslie Horton even shaved Canadian country music artist Paul Brandt’s head to raise funds.
