Friday’s Okanagan forecast

Friday, February 05, 2016 – Weather forecast update at 5 am:

The next Pacific system is pushing inland, and we will see an increasing chance of showers or flurries today. Mild air is accompanying this system and we can expect our freezing levels to rise to between 1000 and 1500m.

A strong upper ridge is slated to strengthen through the weekend and next week.  This will bring us a drier trend starting this weekend, and with the milder air moving in aloft, we will see the risk of valley cloud for next week.

Today’s daytime high range: 1 to 6C

We will have the rest of your weather details coming up at 5 and 6:30pm – Hope you can join us!
