Teen, 3 adults facing charges after early morning stabbing in Dartmouth

Four people are facing charges after a stabbing in Dartmouth on Tuesday morning.

Halifax Regional Police say they have arrested two men, a woman and a youth in connection with the stabbing, which happened in the 0-100 block of Primrose Street at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. A 49-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were both stabbed.

The two men were taken to hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries to their extremities.

The three males and woman were arrested shortly after in the area of Catherine Street and Farrell Road in Dartmouth.

The 16-year-old boy faces charges of two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of assault with a weapon causing bodily harm, two counts of robbery, break and enter and possession of a weapon.

Twenty-year-old Christopher Steven Slaunwhite, 20-year-old Natasha Irene Lee White and 24-year-old Theodore Payne St. Onge have are all charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of assault with a weapon causing bodily harm, two counts of robbery, break and enter and two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Slaunwhite has also been charged with two counts of breach of probation. White has been charged with one count of breach of probation.

All four are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Wednesday.
