Calgary police issue new, urgent plea to find man wanted for several assaults

Police have released images of a man wanted in connection with a number of violent crimes and said they believe he poses a significant risk to his former girlfriend.

Noel Antonio Reinosa, also known as Noel Reinosa-Carreno, has warrants issued for his arrest in connection with multiple assaults, uttering threats and breaching court orders.

In an emailed release, police said they believe Reinosa is “actively avoiding arrest and poses a significant risk to a former domestic partner.”

Police had asked for the public’s help in trying to find Reinosa last month but said they now believe he followed his ex-girlfriend to a CTrain station on Tuesday, where they believe he attacked her and threatened her with a weapon.

Reinsoa is described as 22 years old, 5’7″ tall, with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.Anyone with information on Reinosa’s whereabouts is asked to immediately call the Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
