GO train service on the Lakeshore line was temporarily delayed late Tuesday night following an attempted purse snatching.
Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. on the westbound train located between Birchmount Road and Raleigh Avenue.

A male suspect allegedly tried to take a women’s purse but was unsuccessful. The victim was not injured.
Police say the man then opened the door and fled the scene.
No suspect description was released.
