Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards has sued the actor for US$1.2 million, claiming he evicted her and their two daughters from their home.

She also alleges Sheen sent her a series of threatening texts, and hasn’t provided the funds he’d promised to help raise Sam, 11, and Lola, 10.

According to legal documents secured by TMZ, Richards, 44, claims Sheen, 50, asked her and the children to move into a home next door to him, promising they would not be kicked out if they did. She reluctantly agreed, and once they moved in Sheen’s behaviour became increasingly erratic — he allegedly evicted them shortly thereafter, going against his word and hasn’t paid Richards for the purchase of a new residence.

“Denise Richards is not satisfied that she has received $660,000 tax-free each year for almost 10 years,” Sheen’s lawyer Martin Singer told People magazine in a statement. “It is not enough money for her, besides the approximate $10 million she has received from Charlie under her short marriage.”

“[The lawsuit is about] nothing more than money, money, money,” he added.

In the suit, she claims Sheen was trying to poison her relationship with the kids by saying despicable things.

According to the actress, Sheen once told his daughter Lola, “I’m going to kill you and I’m going to kill your mom” and texted her “B—h couldn’t act hot in a fire or wet in a pool” in reference to Richards’s acting skills.

Sheen’s lawyer says the actor meant any vulgar texts for Richards, not for his daughters.

Other statements the actor allegedly made include threats against the family’s holiday plans (by saying “I’m giving all your gifts, including the air hockey table, to the homeless”) and insults against the actresses’s character (Richards allegedly overheard him calling her “a f–king pig whore” to their 10-year-old).

Richards is seeking $1.2 million toward a new home, an amount she says Sheen promised to pay under the terms of their childrens’ trust.

Sheen and Richards were married in 2002, and Richards filed for divorce three years later while pregnant with Lola.
