CALGARY – A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Brentwood alley pleaded guilty on Wednesday.

The assault occurred near Blackiston Drive N.W. and Brentwood Road N.W. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014.

Police said the victim was leaving the Brentwood LRT station when she was grabbed from behind and pulled into an alley. Investigators said the victim was thrown to the ground, but fought back and was able to flee her attacker.

Less than a week later, police arrested Andrew Holloway in connection with the attack. He was charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm.
