A morning crash on the Okanagan Connector is serving as a stark reminder of winter road conditions.
RCMP say the person behind the wheel of a white SUV was driving below the posted speed limit, but still lost control. The driver skidded and ended up in a snowbank in the middle of the highway. The driver and passenger inside were both uninjured.
Police say despite the fact the sun is shining, parts of the highway, especially those covered by shade, are still icy.
RCMP are reminding drivers to slow down and drive to the conditions.
