More than a dozen dogs and one cat were seized following a drug investigation in Etobicoke overnight.

The police drug squad executed a search warrant around midnight at homes on Appledale Drive near Kipling Avenue and Rathburn Road.

Police say animal services were called in after officers found 14 to 15 dogs and one cat at the location.

Toronto Hydro was also called in to deal with possible tampering of the electrical system in the house.

There’s no immediate word on the amount of drugs seized or any arrests in the investigation.
