Toronto homes evacuated after structural collapse
TORONTO – Emergency workers have evacuated two homes in the Danforth Village area after a wall collapsed during construction work Saturday.
Toronto fire crews were called to the semi-detached home at 585 Coxwell Avenue just before 3 p.m. after a foundation wall began collapsing.
A construction crew was reportedly working on the foundation when bricks fell out of the wall.
The neighbouring home was also evacuated and no injuries were reported.
