Residents on an island in Chile were shocked to find thousands of squid had washed up on its shore earlier this week.
According to media reports, the island of Santa Maria, about 500 km southwest of Santiago, is used to squid washing ashore, but say that this year there are far more than usual.
Clean up has begun, but as the bodies begin to decompose, some are concerned about the health effects.
