Many, many Canadians are trying their chances at the now-$1.5 billion Powerball lottery in the U.S. Whether they’re asking family to buy them a ticket or venturing across the border in person, the promise of that much money is too much to resist.

Late Show host Stephen Colbert is (jokingly) resentful of all the Canadians potentially reaching into an American’s pocket. What if a Canadian wins, taking money from a rightful American winner?
That makes us “moose-munching iceholes,” apparently.

The talk-show host even threatens that if a Canadian wins the huge jackpot, “Donald Trump will be elected president.”
The lottery draw takes place Wednesday night.
