No information was available if the man was walking against the light or at the marked crosswalk.

A pedestrian was struck during Monday’s snowstorm at around the same time of day.

RCMP said, in that incident, the darkness and snow impeded the driver from stopping in time for the 19-year-old man as he crossed the street without watching for traffic.

The teen struck in that accident is said to be recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

There is no word on the condition of Tuesday’s accident victim following his transport to Kelowna General Hospital.
