REGINA – A teenage girl reported missing from Tisdale Sask. was found safe today, one day after RCMP asked for help finding her.

On Jan. 4, Tisdale RCMP said Lynette Whitedeer, 14, was last seen on the evening of Dec. 27 by her foster parents at their residence in Tisdale, Sask.

Mounties said she left the residence in a vehicle belonging to her foster parents. The vehicle was later located just outside Prince Albert, Sask. on Dec. 28.

Police believed Whitedeer was not in any immediate danger, but they wished to locate her to ensure her safety. At the time, they also said she may have been with family and friends in the Prince Albert area.

On Tuesday, RCMP said Whitedeer was located and safe.
